Interior

The objectives of the interior design solution were: creating a modern interior space which should be comfortable and safe for both passengers and maintenance personnel.

We selected the materials and developed the interior color scheme that would not only conform to operation functional specifics, but also produce certain positive experience of passengers. The visually spacious and light-colored passenger space of the train should support the feeling of safety and comfort of its users.

Partitions are an important component of the new subway train's interior. These divide the space to improve comfort of seated passenger without obstructing other train users’ freedom. The partition pattern may both bear the main function of informing passengers of, e.g., presence of glass and hiding structural elements of seats, as well as convey a unique impression to metropolitan visitors.

Cabin

DESIGN SOLUTION FOR THE CAB

The main objective in the selection of color and texture of the driver’s cabin was to create a comfortable environment with due regard to specifics of operating a subway train. This was achieved by using subtle combinations of gray to prevent driver fatigue.
